What beverages are compatible with Era?
Era is made for cold beverages and iced carbonated beverages. When using carbonated drinks at high altitude or on a plane, slowly unlock the Ü-Turn™ lid to release built-up pressure before sipping.
How do I lock and unlock the straw lid?
To open the Ü-Turn™ lid for sipping, align the mode indicator with the 'open' position marked by the raised notch. To lock, turn the indicator to the 'closed' position on the opposite side.
How long does it keep my drink cold?
BevGuard™ insulation keeps drinks ice-cold for 24+ hours. For maximum ice retention, fill with at least 50% ice.
How do I clean my Era?
All parts, including the lid, are top-rack dishwasher safe — with two exceptions: the Dark Aura and Onyx Leopard finishes are hand-wash only (their lids and straws are still top-rack dishwasher safe). Remove the straw lid before washing by turning the mode indicator halfway between locked and open and pulling up on the center straw piece.
How do I remove the ColdKey™ straw?
Twist the straw until the notch lines up with the vertical groove, then pull down to release it for cleaning.
Are Era lids interchangeable between sizes?
Era lids and silicone straw pieces are interchangeable between the 30oz and 40oz sizes — just use the correct stainless steel straw, since the 40oz straw is longer. The Era 20oz uses its own lid and is not compatible.
